Meranti Wood

Dark Red Meranti is one of the most prevalent and widely used types of Meranti wood. It is known for its reddish-brown color and straight grain. DRM is commonly used in general construction, interior and exterior joinery, furniture, and plywood production. Light Red Meranti is similar to Dark Red Meranti but has a lighter reddish-brown color and may exhibit more pronounced grain patterns. LRM is commonly used in interior joinery, moldings, veneers, and decorative panels. White Meranti, also known as Seraya or Balau, is lighter in color than Dark Red Meranti and has a pale yellow to light brown hue. It is commonly used in interior joinery, door frames, moldings, and furniture components.
